About the Study

Soterix Medical is developing a Smart Belt for measuring toddlers’ walking ability using artificial intelligence (AI). We need to collect walking data from toddlers for training the AI model. Study participants will wear the Smart Belt and provide a short video filmed during use. The Smart Belt will be especially useful for visually impaired children, but will also benefit sighted children as well.

How to Participate

  • Identify one or more children (ages 12-59 months)
  • Complete the participation form below.
  • Download, sign, and upload the consent form.
  • Receive a Smart Belt in the mail.
  • Video the child walking with the Smart Belt turned on for at least 30 seconds.
  • Ship back smart belt (postage & packaging will be provided) and send your video to contact@soterixmedical.com
  • Receive $50.
