Soterix Medical MEGA-EMG

The Soterix Medical MEGA-EMG provides an all-in-one digital system

MEGA-EMG

With options for up to 4 or 8 acquisition channels, built-in stimulators, and unique, easy-to-use software, MEGA-EMG can be used to perform almost all known electromyography (EMG), evoked potential (EP), and nerve conduction studies (NCS), including:

  • NCS Motor and sensory conduction velocity, F-wave, H-reflex, motor and sensory inching, motor and sensory conduction collision
  • EMG Spontaneous activity, interference curve, Motor Unit Potentials (MUP), macro EMG
  • Motor Unit Number Estimation (MUNE)
  • Neuromuscular junction
  • Additional EMG Tests: blink reflex, sacral reflex, bulbocavernosus reflex, T-reflex*, Galvanic Skin Response, long loop (transcortical) reflexes
  • Somatosensory Evoked Potentials (SEP)
  • Visual Evoked Potentials (VEP)
  • Auditory Evoked Potentials (AEP)
  • Vestibular Evoked Myogenic Potentials (VEMP)
  • Cognitive Evoked Potentials (P300, MMN, CNV, MRCP, P50)
  • Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)**
  • Electroretinography (ERG)***
  • Heart Rate Variability (HRV)***
  • Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring (IONM)

Optional Stimulators

Stimulators

The delivery set of MEGA-EMG systems includes the amplifier unit with the option to add an electrical stimulator-control unit, and an auditory-visual stimulator unit to control an auditory stimulator, a pattern stimulator, and a visual stimulator (LED goggles).

Features:

  • Available in 4 or 8 channel configurations optimized to quickly perform motor and sensory conduction tests.
  • High acquisition quality: A sampling frequency of up to 160 kHz allows recording of high quality traces other devices are unable to detect.
  • Low noise, quick artifact rejection and perfect interference immunity.
  • Modular Architecture: Select a configuration of available amplifiers and stimulators flexible enough to meet any clinical demands.
  • All electronic units connect to a computer via USB interface, allowing for connection of up to 10 units.
  • Portable and ergonomic design: a dedicated keyboard and footswitch greatly simplifies the process of EMG study.
  • Includes state of the art, easy to use software, Neuro-MEP.NET.
